Anthony Benenati, DPM

Anthony V. Benenati, D.P.M., is a graduate of Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Benenati has been in private practice since 1993. He is also a staff member at several area hospitals. Dr. Benenati is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons as well as the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Benenati has held many leadership positions including Chief of Podiatric Surgery and Medicine and the Residency Director for the Foot and Ankle Reconstruction program at St. John Macomb Hospital.  Dr. Benenati completed a two year Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Podiatric Surgical Residency at St. John North Shores Hospital. He is a distinguished member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. A proud member of the Italian American Chamber of Commerce and bilingual speaking both English and Italian. Si parla italiano

Neil Shaw, DPM

Neil T. Shaw, D.P.M.; A graduate of the School College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Shaw II has been in private practice since 2001. Dr. Shaw is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. Dr. Shaw completed a comprehensive three year foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency at St. John North Shores Hospital and is on staff at several area hospitals. Dr. Shaw is a member of the Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency Program at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, which he is personally involved with the selection and training of the Podiatry Residents. Dr. Shaw specializes in orthopedic related sport injuries. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association

Julie Mrozek, DPM

Dr. Julie Mrozek received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2012.  She was a member of Pi Delta medical school honor society.  She then completed her podiatric medicine and surgical residency training with reconstructive rearfoot certification at the Cleveland Clinic and Mercy Regional Medical Center.  

She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.   

She earned a BA from John Carroll University, Cleveland OH with Biology major and Philosophy minor and went on to complete a MA in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland OH. 

Dr. Mrozek is originally from Western Pennsylvania and grew up an avid equestrian and figure skater.  Her current interests include running, yoga and sports medicine.   She enjoys providing complete and compassionate care to each patient.

Adam P. Thompson, DPM

Dr. Adam P. Thompson, DPM grew up in Southeastern Michigan and received his Bachelor of Science from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, majoring in Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Science. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from The Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio where he graduated Summa Cum Laude earning Dean’s List honors for all four years and earning him a position within the Pi Delta Academic Honor Society.

He completed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with the added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan where he served as Chief Podiatric Surgery Resident and represented his residency program on the Graduate Medical Education Committee.

He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is Board Qualified in forefoot and rearfoot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

He earned his Eagle Scout Award with Boy Scout Troop #1036 in Bloomfield Hills, MI and was voted into the scouting honor society of The Order of The Arrow. His interests include sailing, running, college athletics, camping and fishing. His passion is providing world-class foot care to every patient he encounters and is looking forward to treating you!
